The Clarion Borough Police Department is hosting Clarion’s third annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The event aims to foster police-community relationships and features activities like a scavenger hunt, free hot dogs and lemonade, and a chance for kids to interact with law enforcement. Main Street will be closed from 4th to 7th Avenue for the event, which will include police and emergency vehicles, food stands, live music, and activities for children.
Police Chief Bill Peck emphasizes the importance of building trust between youth and law enforcement, so they feel comfortable reaching out when needed.
