A lot of buildings that were closed on the IUP campus last week will be open again today. They were closed for the Summer Utilities Savings Program, with employees and services operating remotely.
The Program is designed to cut the costs of having buildings open for fourteen weeks from the end of the spring semester to the beginning of fall activities. With a similar program operating during the winter break, IUP has been able to save about $500,000 annually since beginning in 2022.
