A Punxsutawney man, Patrick Alan Hughes, faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a young girl in Perry Township.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, State Police filed charges on June 5, 2024, following a report received in April. The incident reportedly occurred between March 22 and March 28, 2024. Hughes allegedly touched the victim inappropriately while they were watching a movie. He admitted to touching her but claimed it was accidental.
Hughes was arraigned on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges and is currently free on a $100,000 surety bond.
