NO INJURIES REPORTED IN ONE-VEHICLE CRASH IN PUNXSUTAWNEY

In a one-vehicle accident on West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney, on Monday at 2:57 p.m., no serious injuries occurred.

The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, Punxsutawney’s three fire companies responded, with Elk Run’s Engine/Rescue-30 and Central’s Utility-20 at the scene while Lindsey remained in quarters. Reports indicated that the driver of a Nissan pickup truck lost control after dropping a cheeseburger and hitting a tree.

Punxsutawney Borough Police received assistance from Jefferson County EMS. Engine-Rescue-30 moved the vehicle off the road to reopen traffic.
