A suspect in a sexual assault case attempted to disarm a police officer in Brookville Borough.
Authorities, along with the “814 Pred Hunters,” received information about the suspect planning to meet a presumed 15-year-old girl for sexual relations. When confronted, the suspect resisted arrest and tried to take control of the officer’s weapon. The press release says he was arrested and charged with various offenses, including statutory sexual assault and aggravated assault of a police officer.
The case has been filed in District Judge Bazylak’s office, but the suspect’s name has not been released.
