New Beginnings Church teamed up with RIP Medical Debt, clearing more than $1.6 million in medical debt for over 2,000 local families.
Today’s Punxsutawney Spirit says, Pastor Devin Wintermyer shared that the church’s focus shifted from giving toys to addressing medical debt, recognizing its significant impact on people’s lives.
The Spirit adds, through RIP Medical Debt’s mission, they bought and forgave medical debt, providing relief and restoring credit for those in need.
