A Jefferson County inmate is charged for attacking another prisoner.
ExploreJeffersonPa.com reports, 30 year old, Fatimah Elaine Guthrie, is accused of assaulting an inmate in the Jefferson County Jail. The victim suffered injuries including a swollen eye and a laceration. Guthrie allegedly attacked the victim in the bathroom, hitting her until guards intervened. She admitted to the assault, citing provocation. Charges against Guthrie include Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment. Preliminary hearing set for June 11.
