During the total eclipse on April 8, those in its path will witness the moon fully blocking the sun’s face, unveiling the corona, the sun’s outer atmosphere.
Lasting around three minutes and 41 seconds, the sky will darken akin to dawn or dusk. Starting around 2:00 P.M., the moon’s orbit will cast a shadow over the sun, with the total eclipse phase occurring from 3:15 P.M. to 3:20 P.M. The event will wrap up by 4:30 P.M.
