A teenage motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on State Route 53 in Clearfield County.
The crash, involving a Suzuki SUV and a Mercury Montego, happened at the intersection of State Route 53 and Old Route 53 in Cooper Township. The SUV driver, a 17-year-old, failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting the motorcyclist.
Both drivers were transported to medical facilities, with the SUV driver facing multiple traffic citations. Assistance was provided by several emergency services at the scene.
