The City of DuBois is moving to fire its former city manager, Herm Suplizio, accused of embezzling $600,000.
According to WPSU, the council voted 3-2 to terminate Suplizio’s employment, with a 30-day notice period for him to request a hearing. Interim City Solicitor Thomas Breth clarified that Suplizio’s pension depends on the outcome of his criminal charges, with a court injunction blocking further payments until lifted.
