Over the weekend your clocks moved an hour ahead for Day Light Saving Time and the American Red Cross always reminds people to change the batteries in your smoke alarms.
Smoke detectors should be installed on every level of the house, including inside and outside of bedrooms and other sleeping areas. If they are older than 10 years they should be replaced, as sensors can become less sensitive over time. If you need help either purchasing or installing a smoke alarm log onto: SoundTheAlarm.org/GreaterPA
