Darren Knox is no longer the warden of Clarion County Jail, confirmed by Commissioner Braxton White.
According to ExploreClarion.com, Knox was hired on October 30, 2023 and was still within his probationary period when the Board decided to make a change. An emergency executive session led to the decision, with Deputy Warden Dan Blose stepping in as interim warden once more.
The board plans to discuss the position’s future at its upcoming meeting on March 1.
