Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Indiana Borough Saturday morning.
Police chief Justin Schawl said that officers were called out at 2:26 AM to the 100 block of Philadelphia Street, where a Chrysler Pacifica went off the roadway crashing through the first floor of a home. The house was occupied at the time, and a boy was taken to the hospital by Citizens’ Ambulance Service for treatment. The driver, identified only as a man in his early 40s, was also taken from the scene by Citizens’ Ambulance for treatment.
Police were also assisted by members of the Indiana Fire Association. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
