State police are investigating a shooting and attempted burglary at a business in Greene Township late last week.
Troopers were called out at 4:11 AM to Betty Lou’s on Route 286 East near Commodore for a burglar alarm activation. PSP saw evidence of a burglary and that the suspect had fled the scene. After police viewed surveillance footage, they found that an unknown man fired a 12-gauge shotgun multiple times at a side window of the building, where he entered.
Extensive damage was reported but nothing was stolen. Authorities are asking anyone with information to give them a call at 724-357-1960 and to ask for Trooper Williams.
