Punxsutawney Borough Council greenlit the purchase of a Ford F-550 dump truck for $55,577.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, the financing, secured through InFirst Bank at 4.425 percent, covers up to $110,000 over 72 months. Despite a suggestion-free finance package, a $20,000 down payment was approved. Other decisions included tabling property insurance and discussing wage adjustments in an executive session.
The Spirit adds, Devin Gray was approved for Elk Run’s active list, with the next council meeting set for Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.
