A Knox couple, 25-year-old Ronald Paul Texter, and 30-year-old Carrie Marie Hilliard, face theft charges for allegedly stealing a trailer and tools from an incarcerated man.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, the victim’s brother reported the theft, suspecting Texter and Hilliard. The victim, in jail at the time, confirmed the theft’s details, including a distinctive cross on the trailer. Knox Borough Police revealed Hilliard sold the trailer to a third party, unaware it was stolen. The trailer was recovered, and Texter admitted involvement.
Texter was arraigned on January 12th, and released on $25,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing on January 23rd. Hilliard awaits a preliminary hearing.
