Pennsylvania’s flu count continues its upward surge while RSV cases are declining.
The number of lab-confirmed flu cases in the latest state report saw an increase of 16,669. Deaths from flu increase from 24 t0 31. RSV cases in the state continue to slow down.
The number of flu cases reported is lower than the actual number of people with flu, since many people don’t seek treatment from a doctor, and some doctors treat patients for flu without actually having it confirmed in a lab.
