The Punxsutawney Fire Department will be holding its annual boot drive this weekend to raise funds for local food banks.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, firefighters will be stationed at major intersections throughout town, including in front of the Lindsey Fire Hall, Central Fire Hall, and Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company.
The Spirit adds, the money collected during the drive will be split among the local food banks and will help individuals and families throughout the year.
