A Punxsutawney man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend last Thursday.
According to WTAJ News, 20 year old Dakota Greeley, is facing charges of homicide and murder. The online report cites, court documents, saying Greeley called the police and confessed to the crime, expressing his intention to commit suicide by cop. When authorities arrived at the scene, Greeley fired two shots at them and then fled in a Ford truck. After a crash, he was eventually apprehended and taken to the hospital, where he threatened EMS personnel.
During interviews, Greeley admitted to shooting his girlfriend and laughed when asked about the gun. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head and tire tracks over her body.
Greeley has yet to be arraigned.
