A local man was taken to the hospital after crashing his vehicle into multiple embankments in Gaskill Township Friday afternoon.
The 29-year-old driver, Damian Barch of Punxsutawney, experienced a medical episode, causing him to veer off the road and hit several embankments along Jackson Run Road in Jefferson County. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.
The vehicle was removed from the scene and police were assisted by the fire department and ambulance services.
