The sixth brush fire of the year in Indiana County was reported yesterday morning.
Members of the Clymer Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a home along Dixon Road in Clymer Borough around 10:45 a.m. for a reported fire. Chief John Gromley said it was minor in nature and started after residents burned materials they were not supposed to. He adds the residents had a burn permit, but that will now be revoked.
No one was injured and crews were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
