The Jeff Tech Operating Committee met Monday night. Sam Bundy of Reynlownews.com has this wrap up:
Students who did well at the recent Skills USA competitions attended the meeting, including 5 gold medal winners. They will compete at the state level in April. The committee got a look at preliminary budget figures for the four sending school districts. The new budget will be presented at the March meeting.
Building principal Melissa Mowrey provided an update on enrollment figures. She said that the school currently has 520 students, and she believes that number could hit 600 next fall.
A Recruitment Fair is planned at Jeff Tech for February 22nd from 5-7 p.m. for both high school and adult students. Another one will be held in March.
