As Penn State fans prepare to return to Beaver Stadium this season, a few changes will be in place as coronavirus continues to be a concern.
Officials at Penn State say they will not require fans to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for the upcoming football season. The team is hoping once again to fill Beaver Stadium following last year’s pandemic-related season, when no fans were admitted.
Penn State officials say masks will not be required in the outdoor areas of the stadium, although they will be required inside, including in press and coaching areas as well as in restrooms.
The Lions open their home season September 11th, playing host to Ball State.
