A 14-year-old Clymer-area boy was seriously injured and two other boys were hurt in a crash on Route 240 in Green Township…
The crash happened on Saturday morning when a 16-year-old driver became distracted near Lovejoy Road and drifted over the center line, before hitting an embankment and a tree. The driver, who is from Clymer, was hurt but did not require treatment. A 16-year-old Clymer passenger was taken to IRMC for treatment of minor injuries.
The 14-year-old, who lives along Route 553, was flown from the scene by Lifeflight and taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
