The Punxsutawney Borough tax collector announced Tuesday that she is running for reelection.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, Susan Mitchell said she continues to enjoy working with and serving the residents of her hometown. She said she has gained a wealth of information and experience as tax collector and an office assistant in the Punxsutawney Tax Office.
Mitchell said she is always looking for ways to keep the tax office updated and more convenient for taxpayers. She added she has taken continuing education classes and is certified as a qualified tax collector by the commonwealth of PA.
