A 39-year-old Corsica woman escaped injury after a coughing fit caused her to crash and overturn her SUV in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The incident occurred around 5:52 a.m. March 23 at the intersection of Glenn and Markle roads in Union Township. Police said Amber K. Greeley was driving a 2023 Hyundai Tucson south on Glenn Road when she began coughing, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, strike a boulder and flip into a ditch.
Greeley was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt. Greeley was cited for failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
