Yesterday District 9 baseball saw Bradford defeat Johnsonburg 6-3, Brockway roll past Kane 14-3, and St. Marys edged Brookville 3-2, while DuBois Central Catholic shut out Elk County Catholic 2-0 and Keystone topped North Clarion 4-2; Punxsutawney at Central Mountain and DuBois at Bellefonte were both postponed.
On the softball diamond, Johnsonburg outslugged Bradford 15-13, Brockway handled Kane 15-5 in five innings, DuBois Central Catholic blanked Elk County Catholic 8-0, Punxsutawney beat Tyrone 11-5, and in crossover play West Middlesex defeated A-C Valley/Union 15-0 in three innings. In boys volleyball, Central-Martinsburg outlasted DuBois 3-2.
