A Parker man is jailed after allegedly firing a handgun and trapping a woman and her children during a domestic dispute early Sunday, authorities said.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, Nathan Duane Smith, 44, faces felony and misdemeanor charges including terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment after state police say he fired a shot into the air, chased the woman into a home and prevented the family from leaving. The victims escaped to a neighbor’s house, and Smith was later taken into custody nearby.
Smith is being held in the Clarion County Jail on $100,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for March 31.
