A DuBois man is facing multiple felony charges after Pennsylvania State Police alleged he stole more than $8,000 worth of catalytic converters and diesel fuel from his employer in Jefferson County.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, Eric James Shaffer, 40, is accused of taking 56 catalytic converters over several months from an auto salvage yard in Winslow Township and selling them to a recycling center for cash. Investigators said surveillance footage and sales records helped link Shaffer to the thefts, which were reported in November 2025.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 20.
