A Chicora man is being held in Butler County Prison on $125,000 bail after authorities say a raid uncovered drugs, firearms, and explosive devices at his home.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, officers executed a search warrant March 19 in Fairview Township and detained Barry L. Steele Sr., 65, allegedly finding more than 20 bricks of suspected heroin and fentanyl, 13 guns — including a reported stolen Taurus 9mm pistol — and items such as a commercial mortar and a 1974 grenade.
Steele faces 23 charges and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing March 31.
