An inmate at the Clarion County Jail is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly assaulting two corrections officers during an incident in February.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, Logan Jonathan Jay, 20, of Clarion, is accused of striking one officer several times in the head and attempting to bite both officers while also spitting on them, according to a criminal complaint. One officer suffered a black eye and a cut to the nose.
Jay remains jailed on $100,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 24.
