A 76-year-old David A. Kunes of Weedville died Wednesday morning after driving the wrong way on Interstate 80 and crashing head-on into a pickup truck in Monroe Township, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com reports, Kunes, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver, Joseph M. Maguire III of Morrisdale, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Clarion Hospital.
The crash shut down westbound I-80 for several hours between Shippenville and Strattanville before reopening.
