A 52-year-old Sligo woman is facing simple assault and harassment charges after authorities say she scratched her husband during a domestic dispute involving a locked bedroom door.
Pennsylvania State Police said in an ExploreClarion.Com article, the incident occurred Feb. 16 at a Penn Street residence, where the woman had changed the bedroom locks amid an ongoing divorce. Troopers reported the man suffered a cut to his abdomen consistent with a scratch.
The woman was released on $2,500 unsecured bail, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled March 3 before Jeffrey C. Miller.
