Three people were killed in an early morning house fire in Elk County, Pennsylvania State Police said.
According to WTAJ News, Troopers were called to a residence on Massachusetts Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, where a 76-year-old man, a 78-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were found dead, police said. A fourth occupant was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and state police were assisted at the scene by the Highland Township Volunteer Fire Department and other mutual aid crews.
