A Jefferson County woman was cited after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert Thursday morning in Washington Township, state police said.
Troopers from the DuBois barracks reported that the crash occurred around 9:06 a.m. on Stevenson Hill Road, south of Smithtown Road, when a 2017 Hyundai Tucson driven by 30-year-old Makala M. Barr of Reynoldsville traveled off the right side of the road and hit a culvert. Barr was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The vehicle was towed from the scene, and Barr was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
