Interstate 80 East has reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving several tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles forced a closure between Exit 53 (Knox) and Exit 60 (Shippenville).
According to ExploreClarion.Com, PennDOT reported the crash occurred around 10:18 a.m. near the 57-mile marker, with scanner reports indicating multiple injuries. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews treated patients and cleared wreckage, causing traffic congestion as vehicles were detoured.
State police in Clarion are expected to release additional details.
