Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Jefferson County that sent a DuBois man to the hospital.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 8:28 p.m. Jan. 10 on Route 28 west of Harrison Street in Clover Township, when a 2007 Mazda 3 driven by Joshua W. Solomon, 44, traveled onto the berm for unknown reasons and struck an embankment. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its roof in the southbound lane, facing northwest. Solomon was transported by Brockway Area Ambulance Service to Penn Highlands DuBois for evaluation, though the extent of his injuries was unknown.
Summerville Volunteer Fire Department and East Main Service assisted at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
