A 59-year-old Wisconsin man escaped injury after losing control of his car while attempting to pass a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, state police said.
The crash occurred around 5:33 p.m. Dec. 26, 2025, near mile marker 99 in Sandy Township, when the man’s Mercedes-Benz struck the rear of a tractor-trailer and became partially lodged underneath it.
Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts, no injuries were reported, and the Mercedes sustained disabling damage. The driver was cited for a traffic violation.
