Two hunters were discovered dead in separate incidents in Centre County over the weekend, with authorities ruling out foul play in both cases.
The Pennsylvania State Police and local emergency services conducted search and recovery operations. The names of the hunters have not been released.
Following the tragic events, Pennsylvania Game Commission Supervisor Shawna Burkett stressed the importance of hunter safety, advising individuals to be physically prepared, properly equipped for the weather, and ensure someone is aware of their exact location and expected return time before entering the woods.
