A Punxsutawney man is in jail on $20,000 bail after allegedly pointing a .410 shotgun at three people and threatening to kill them during an incident at his Maryland Avenue home, according to ExploreJeffersonPA.com.
Police say 60-year-old Jeffrey A. Smith aimed the gun at two people who arrived to pick up a relative working at the house and also threatened the worker before officers took him into custody.
Smith faces nine misdemeanor charges, including terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for November 24.
