The nation’s two major lottery games are surging toward billion-dollar territory after repeated drawings failed to produce a jackpot winner.
The Mega Millions prize has rolled to an estimated $965 million for the next drawing on Friday, November 14, following a ticket price increase to $5 per play that now includes a multiplier.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has also climbed to an estimated $546 million for its drawing on Saturday, November 15. Tickets for Powerball remain at the standard $2 per play, with an optional Power Play multiplier costing extra. The combined annuity jackpots total about $1.5 billion.
