Pennsylvania voters are urged to know their rights as they cast ballots in person for the election today.
Polls are open until 8 p.m., and anyone in line by closing time retains the right to vote. Voter intimidation is illegal and should be reported to county election offices or the state’s voter hotline. Only first-time voters at a precinct must present ID. Voters whose eligibility is questioned may request a provisional ballot. Most voters with a criminal record are permitted to vote, and those who applied for a mail ballot can “spoil” it at their precinct to vote in person.
