A 56-year-old Clarion woman was hospitalized after crashing her car into an embankment and tree along Route 66 early last Thursday morning, according to state police.
Troopers say Mary N. Crawford was driving north when her vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, hit an embankment, and struck a tree. Police say Crawford was not wearing a seat belt and was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
Crawford was taken to Clarion Hospital for treatment.
