The “No Kings” rallies served as local flashpoints for a national protest against perceived executive overreach under President Donald Trump.
This past Saturday, residents of the region, including those from DuBois, Punxsutawney, Clearfield, Indiana and all of the major cities in the Commonwealth gathered for coordinated events that echoed the core message: America is a representative democracy, not a monarchy or a dictatorship.
The movement’s anti-authoritarian message was unified across the state, with locals joining the pushback against policies like the excessive use of executive orders, immigration crackdowns and the deployment of federal agents.
