A Punxsutawney woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly biting a man, threatening to kill him, and resisting arrest during a domestic dispute.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, 35-year-old Amanda Lynn Ferko reportedly became violent during an argument on Cherry Street on September 28, biting the man’s forearm and punching him several times before threatening him in front of officers. When police attempted to take her into custody, she resisted and had to be restrained. Ferko was treated at Punxsutawney Area Hospital before being arraigned and later released on $50,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 22.
