Pennsylvania State Police are renewing efforts to solve the 1981 disappearance of a 16-year-old girl last seen in Zelienople, offering a $5,000 reward for information.
She was last spotted around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, 1981, in the parking lot of the former Super Duper Market on South Main Street. Her mother reported her missing after she failed to return home from work. The teen is described as white, 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 110 pounds, with a small build. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a wine-colored V-neck sweater, and a gold “knot” pendant necklace.
