A 25 year old Sykesville woman, Nicole McQuade, is facing 2,240 charges in Jefferson County, after a woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted by McQuade while she was a minor.
The victim told police that when she was 15, McQuade, then 21, moved into her home. The assaults, including rape, allegedly occurred multiple times a week for over a year. The victim claimed she tried to tell her family, but they didn’t believe her, and McQuade reportedly threatened to kill her if she told anyone else. After initially denying the allegations, McQuade confessed during a police interview, admitting to the abuse and to forcing the victim to have intercourse and watch pornography with her.
McQuade is currently in Jefferson County Prison with bail set at $80,000. She faces charges including indecent assault, rape, statutory sexual assault, and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
