A 43-year-old Reynoldsville man, William Patrick Donnelly, is jailed after state police say he fired into an occupied SUV on September 6, 2024, following days of threats.
Investigators say Donnelly confronted a man in an apartment parking lot, opened the SUV’s door, and fired a shot that shattered a window. Three people were inside, including a witness who told police Donnelly had threatened him the day before, saying, “When I see you it’s over. Court records note Donnelly, barred from owning guns, had been acting erratically and using meth. A woman in the SUV admitted she had helped set up the confrontation.
Donnelly faces charges including illegal firearm possession, terroristic threats, and reckless endangerment. He was arrested September 10, 2024, and is being held in Jefferson County Jail on $5,000 bail, awaiting a hearing.
