A Rimersburg man was arrested after police say he returned to a home with a shotgun hours after a domestic dispute.
State Police first responded to the Friar Point residence around 6:52 p.m. on June 16 for a verbal altercation involving 62-year-old Kenneth Phillips. He later returned around 9:55 p.m. with a shotgun and made a threatening statement when denied entry, according to court documents. Troopers found Phillips hiding in nearby woods. After initially refusing to comply, he surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Phillips is being held on $50,000 bail and faces charges including terroristic threats. A preliminary hearing is set for July 1.
