PA HIGH IN A DUBIOUS CATEGORY FOR MAIL CARRIERS

Pennsylvania is being ranked as one of the top states in which U.S. Postal Service mail carriers are bitten by dogs.

The rankings are part of the USPS National Dog Bite Awareness Campaign, which runs throughout the month of June. Last year, Pennsylvania had 316 incidents of dogs attacking mail carriers. That number places Pennsylvania as having the sixth most attacks on mail carriers in the country.
